Professor Derek Abbott's name will be well known to anyone who has been investigating this case for any length of time. He is a professor at the University of Adelaide and a Tamam Shud Case obsessive.
For several years he has been trying to crack the case and has even had his Ph.D students attempt to crack the code.
It's also well known that Prof. Abbott married Rachel Egan, Rachel Egan being the Granddaughter of Robin Thomson, Jestyn’s son.
